Silver Alert Issued For Missing Austin Man
Gene McMeen was last seen along the 12900 block of North Interstate 35 just before 3:45 p.m., officials said.
AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Public Safety officials activated a Silver Alert on Monday afternoon in attempts to locate a missing Austin man.
Gene Harold McMeen, 74, is the focus of the search, officials said in a tweet posted just before 9 p.m. A photo of McMeen was included in the notice as well as the vehicle he was driving. McMeen is described as a white man with brown hair and brown eyes who stand at a height of five feet, eleven inches and weighs 225 pounds. His vehicle is described as a white 2008 Chrysler 300 with Texas plate DDG 1801.
The missing man was last seen along the 12900 block of North Interstate 35 just before 3:45 p.m. He was last seen wearing a Cowboys or Longhorns shirt, jogging pants and a Longhorns ball cap.
