St. David’s South Austin Medical Center Names COO
Kyle Landry, who has served in various leadership positions at St. David's Medical Center, tapped as chief operating officer.

AUSTIN, TX — St. David’s South Austin Medical Center has named Kyle Landry, M.H.A, as its chief operating officer, officials announced on Tuesday.
Landry, who has served in various leadership positions at St. David’s Medical Center, assumed his new role this month.
“Kyle has demonstrated tremendous success in managing hospital operations, and he’s gained extensive knowledge of our hospital system,” Charles Laird, chief executive officer of St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, said in a prepared statement. “I am confident he will play a key role in facilitating the strategic development of St. David’s South Austin Medical Center as the South Austin community continues to grow.”

Prior to his new role, Landry served in various leadership roles at St. David’s Medical Center since 2015. Most recently, he was vice president of operations, where he successfully recruited key physicians across multiple service lines, improved quality outcomes in the stroke program, and grew the comprehensive stroke and neurosciences program. He also served as the facility’s chief staffing officer and division neuroscience lead.
He formerly served as an administrative resident at St. David’s HealthCare, where he rotated through St. David’s HealthCare’s acute care hospitals and completed hospital-specific projects as a part of the executive team.

Landry received a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan.
