Silva said the driver of the truck struck the passenger side of the car as the two vehicles raced, sending the Infiniti into oncoming traffic before slamming into a light pole. For most of the morning on Thursday, the stretch of Bluff Springs Road was blocked off as police recreated the crash scene as part of their ongoing investigation.
