Suspects Sought In Gas Station Robbery, Shooting In East Austin

The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. at an East Austin gas station where a clerk was shot during the course of the robbery.

AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in identifying three suspects tied to an aggravated robbery of a convenience store that occurred this week in East Austin.

The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. at a Shell gas station on 31 N. Interstate 35 on Wednesday, according to a police advisory. Police said three suspects entered the store before holding the clerk at gunpoint. During the course of the robbery, police added, the clerk was shot. The clerk's medical condition was not disclosed.

The Austin Police Department provided a description of each suspect, along with a surveillance camera image and footage. Descriptions of the three men follow:

  • Suspect 1: Last seen wearing a black face mask, light gray Nike Jordan hoodie, gray pants, black Jordan shoes with white trim, carrying a black semi-automatic firearm.
  • Suspect 2: Last seen wearing a red bandana over his face, black hoodie, black pants with white writing all over them and black socks with black slides.
  • Suspect 3: Last seen wearing a dark-colored bandana over his face, gray zip-up hoodie, black over-sized shorts and gray socks with white Nike Slides.
