SXSW Musical Festival Wristbands Now On Sale

AUSTIN, TX — SXSW 2020 is fast approaching, and South by Southwest Music Festival are now on sale.

The coveted wristbands went on sale online at wristbands.sxsw.com/music on Jan. 22. The SXSW Music Festival takes place from Monday, March 16 to Sunday, March 22, on 90 stages throughout central Austin with 2,000 regional, national and international artists performing. Music Festival wristbands also have access to the SXSW Gaming Expo from Thursday, March 19 to Saturday, March 21 and to the SXSW Comedy Festival from Sunday, March 15 to Saturday, March 21.

SXSW Music Festival Wristbands will be priced at $149 (including tax) were expected to sell out quickly. Sales are limited to Austin area residents. All advance sales will be online. Individuals may purchase one wristband for themselves and one for another person whose name must be provided at the time of purchase. Online purchase requires a credit card with a billing zip code in the Greater Austin area. A list of zip codes is available at wristbands.sxsw.com/music.

"The SXSW Music Festival assembles a lineup of artists from around the world, with established performers playing alongside cutting-edge acts," officials wrote in a press advisory. "The result is a live music experience like no other for discovering an unparalleled range of artists and genres."

Artists continue to be confirmed, but a tiny sample of performers include: alyona alyona (Kyiv UKRAINE), Beabadoobee (London, UK-ENGLAND), Beach Slang (Philadelphia PA), Caroline Rose (Austin TX), Didirri (Melbourne AUSTRALIA), Dragón Rojo (Cartagena COLOMBIA), The Haden Triplets (Los Angeles CA), Knucks (London UK-ENGLAND), Kokoroko (London, UK-ENGLAND), The Murder Capital (Dublin IRELAND), The Orielles (Manchester, UK-ENGLAND), Otoboke Beaver (Kyoto JAPAN), The Posies (Seattle WA), Quinn Christopherson (Anchorage AK), Soccer Mommy (Nashville TN), Soul Asylum (Minneapolis MN), Sumin (Seoul SOUTH KOREA) and Wire (Brighton UK-ENGLAND).
