AUSTIN, TX — A teenager sustained potentially serious injuries after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle in East Austin on Friday.
The incident occurred at North Pleasant Valley Road at East Cesar Chavez Street at around 4:45 p.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS. The teen — described by medics as being in his "late teens, adult male" — sustained potentially serious injuries that were nonetheless not deemed to be life-threatening.
