Teen On LSD Ransacks West Campus Apartment In Austin

AUSTIN, TX — Details have emerged over an incident last week during which a teen said to be high on LSD allegedly broke into a West Campus apartment complex before leaving the place ransacked and covered in blood, according to reports.
Police were dispatched to 1009 West 26th Street on Thursday evening after a caller said the fire alarm to the building had been pulled, according to a report by KXAN. The apartment's occupant told police he returned home to find his place ransacked with blood everywhere, according to the report. The roommate said he had seen a man run out just moments earlier, the apartment dweller told police.
The suspect, Jayden Seth Serrano, 19, was found in a stairwell on the sixth floor of the complex, KXAN reported. During his ransacking, the man is said to have broken a flower pot, candle, bedroom blinds, curtains and microwave vent for total damages of more than $116, KXAN reported.

Serrano was charged with criminal trespass of a habitation and was jailed under a $5,000 bond, according to Travis County Jail records.
