Texas Mamma Jamma Ride For Breast Cancer Awareness Scheduled
Annual bike event raising funds to support programs, services for breast cancer fighters and survivors scheduled this weekend.

AUSTIN, TX — Texas Mamma Jamma Ride, an annual bike event that raises funds to support programs and services for breast cancer fighters and survivors in Central Texas, is scheduled this weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 21, in historic Downtown Martindale (located eight miles east of San Marcos.) The ride offers a one-of-kind cycling experience on a picturesque route with distances of 15, 25, 40 and 65 miles. Riders of all experience levels are welcome and participating.
Proceeds from the annual Texas Mamma Jamma Ride support local organizations that provide a comprehensive range of vitally important support to those battling breast cancer. Current beneficiaries are Breast Cancer Resource Center, Susan G. Komen of Greater Central and East Texas, The Ascension Seton Breast Care Center, Wonders & Worries, Sustainable Food Center, Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas, Capital of Texas Team Survivor. To date, Texas Mamma Jamma has distributed nearly $2 million its beneficiaries.

In addition to the ride, Texas Mamma Jamma offers a full lineup of family-friendly activities along Main Street throughout the day on Saturday. The celebration includes live music from the School of Rock New Braunfels, community activities, food, drinks, vendors and more.
Registration is open and riders can sign up as late as the morning of the ride as long as they meet the fundraising minimum. Complete rider registration details can be found here.
