  2. As of Wednesday, April 27, "a section of Ranch to Market Road 2222" is closed off "to re-stripe ahead of opening the Ranch to Market Road 620 bypass road on Friday." When it's completed, "drivers will be able to travel in both directions" and according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), it "will help alleviate traffic at the RM 2222 and RM 620 intersection." Brad Wheelis, spokersperson for TXDOT, said, "This is an area that has been growing for a while, and we needed some relief there at the RM 620 and RM 2222 intersection. And that's what the bypass road does." For more details visit: (KXAN.com)
  3. Two men from Austin were "arrested in connection to two separate gas skimming incidents at a Kyle gas station." The incidents occurred on April 23 and April 25 "at the 7-Eleven gas station... near South Interstate 35 and Kohlers Crossing." Both cases involved two individuals who were "pumping gas into hidden compartments," according to employees. They were also seen "using multiple gift cards to make separate purchases." The men were identified as Alberto Carlos Alonso Robina, 22, and Miguel Angel Vidal Flores, 29 and "more charges are likely forthcoming" as police continue to investigate.
