Travis High School Lock-Out Mode Lifted
School had been safeguarded Thursday afternoon amid reports of an armed person near the campus who subsequently was detained.
AUSTIN, TX — A lock-out mode at Travis High School was lifted Thursday afternoon following reports of a person with a weapon near the school.
The person was located before being detained, Austin ISD police chief Ashley Gonzalez.
Just before 3:30 p.m., the chief reported the threat had been eliminated, the lock-out mode lifted and the campus was safe.
