UT-Austin Police Seek Stabbing Suspect

University of Texas at Austin campus police early Monday were seeking a suspect in connection to an off-campus stabbing incident.

AUSTIN, TX — University of Texas at Austin campus police early Monday were seeking a suspect in connection to a stabbing at an off-campus student housing site.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly after midnight on Monday on a patio at an apartment on 2502 Nueces St. Campus police said a person not affiliated with UT-Austin was transported to the hospital for medical treatment of a stab wound.

A description of the suspect was sketchy, with police saying only he is a shirtlesss white man who is about 45 years old. Police were unsure if the suspect and stabbing victim are acquaintances.
