UT-Austin President To Outline Future Vision For University
Fenves on Wednesday will outline initiatives and collaborations related to new student housing and financial aid among other issues.

AUSTIN, TX — University of Texas at Austin President Gregory L. Fenves will reflect on recent achievements and outline his priorities for The University of Texas at Austin during the annual State of the University Address on Wednesday.
The Sept. 18 talk is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. within the B. Iden Payne Theatre in the Winship Drama Building, 300 E. 23rd St. The event is open to the public.
UT-Austin officials provided some context to the upcoming discussion: "For generations, The University of Texas at Austin has thrived because of its commitment to students. With that in mind, President Fenves will outline his vision for the future of UT, including initiatives and collaborations related to new student housing and financial aid. In 2033, UT will celebrate its 150th anniversary. The president’s remarks will look to the future of this anniversary and how UT can be positioned to make the greatest impact on Texas, the nation and the world."
