UT-Austin Students Beaten, Robbed At Off-Campus Apartment
Incident occurred early Friday morning when two men kicked the door open, beat them with rifles and stole their belongings, police said.

AUSTIN, TX — Two students from the University of Texas at Austin sustained injuries early Friday in a robbery at a West Campus apartment, police said.
The incident occurred at 2704 Rio Grande Street at around 1:20 a.m., according to police. The victims said two men kicked in the door to their apartments, hit them with rifles and stole their belongings, according to the account.
Both students were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Austin police urge anyone with information about the incident to call them at (512)-974-2000.
