The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Austin.

Happy Saturday, Austin! Let's get you all caught up to start today off on an informed note.
First, today's weather:
Mostly sunny and warmer. High: 66 Low: 45.
Here are the top stories today in Austin:
- "This year 116 people have been killed on Austin roadways" despite the community's "Vision Zero goal" to reduce injuries and deaths due to crashes. "To remind community members that crashes are not accidents," murals that "reflect impacts of car crashes on Austinites" were painted at Odom Pavilion and City Star Foods, located at 31 N. Interstate 35. The artwork is based on stories shared by crash survivors and their families and Austin Transportation invites the community to see them and to make them aware "that individual driving decisions matter."
