PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Northbound traffic starting at Pflugerville Parkway will be moved to newly revamped lanes of Weiss Lane through Aug. 30, city officials said this week.

The move comes after a final lane switch for the northbound lanes that was launched on Tuesday, July 23. As a result, northbound traffic, beginning at Pflugerville Parkway, has been moved to the completed northbound lanes of Weiss Lane through the end of August, which is the anticipated completion date of the project.

Although the northbound direction will have two lanes, officials noted, the southbound direction will continue with a single lane between Cele Road and Pflugerville Parkway. The traffic switch will allow drivers to remain on the newly constructed northbound lanes all the way to Cele Road, officials added.

In addition to the traffic switch, a permanent all-way stop has been added at the intersection of Hidden Lake Crossing/Aventura Avenue and Weiss Lane. "It is important that drivers continue to observe and obey warning signs as contractor’s personnel complete work throughout the construction zone from Cele Road to Pecan Street," city officials advised.
