West Austin Sinkhole Prompts Road Closure
Police were at Old Bee Caves and Travis Cook roads on Tuesday morning to help navigate traffic after road collapse.

AUSTIN, TX — Police were at the scene of a traffic hazard caused by a possible sinkhole in West Austin.
The site is at the intersection of Old Bee Caves and Travis Cook roads, police alerted on Twitter just before 10 a.m.. As a result of the collapse, the roadway is shut down at Old Bee Caves, Mountain Shadow and the Thomas Spring area.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, and preferably find alternative routes to circumvent the resulting road blockage.
