"An independent festival celebrating the roots of Austin music culture, the inaugural Waterloo Music Festival lineup wouldn't be complete without its share of supreme local talent, expressed through additions like Austin Groove Project, a super jam featuring powerhouse Austin musicians Tameca Jones, Jackie Venson, Alesia Lani, The Peterson Brothers, D Madness and John D; psychedelia, soul, and blues-rooted band Kalu and The Electric Joint; punchy, psych-tinged rock and soul group Los Coast; and groove-rock outfit Mamafesta, among several others," organizers said.
What sets this inaugural music event apart from most others is its setting at Carson Creek Ranch. The venue is just ten minutes from downtown Austin, featuring more than 60 acres of pecan-lined campgrounds and scenic views from the banks of the Colorado River.
You can't ask for a more bucolic, quintessentially Austin setting than this. Enter today to win your pair of tickets, totally free with full weekend admission! Subscribe to Patch now for your chance to win!
