Lotto Texas Jackpot Grows To $11.75 Million

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Lotto Texas jackpot prize has grown to $11.75 million after nobody matched all six of the winning digits on Wednesday. The lack of a winner pushes the prize to new heights, with a cash value option of $7.61 million should anyone match all the numbers at the next drawing.

The winning numbers for Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 are: 14-19-30-42-47-51. As always, we report those not to rub it in your face that you didn't win, but to urge you to still check your number as smaller prizes are given for partial matches.

On a related lottery front, the Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an astounding $654 million after nobody matched all the numbers for that game at the last drawing. This dwarfs the Lotto Texas jackpot for next Wednesday, Oct. 17, exponentially. It casts Lotto Texas as the Pluto to Mega Millions' Jupiter. The cash value for Mega Millions should anyone win at the next drawing is a breathtaking $372.6 million.

Of course, the chances of winning that ginormous jackpot are rather astronomical, something along the order of 300 million to one. The chances to win a Lotto Texas prize are considerably better. Nine people matched five out of the six numbers for Lotto Texas on Saturday, walking away with $3,015 in winnings. One lucky person playing with the Extra! option scored $13,015 worth of winnings for matching all but one of the numbers.

Another 717 players matched four out of six numbers, winning $56 each. Hey, it's not the $11.25 million that they could've won on Wednesday — the size of the jackpot on Wednesday before it swelled — but it's something. Gas money, you know. Another 168 players matching four out of six numbers with the Extra! option left the store with $156 in winnings. Gas money, and then some.

Another state lottery game, the Texas Two Step, is offering $200,000 to the winner. Drawings for that game are on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:12 p.m. The prize starts again at the $200,000 starting point after one lucky winner matched all four numbers with a bonus, winning $625,000 at the last drawing.

That winning Texas Two Step ticket was sold at the Oaks Country Mart, 30326 Nichols Sawmill Rd., in Magnolia, Texas. So people do win at these games. But if you do buy lottery tickets, please play responsibly. Allot a modest amount to play without compromising your ability to pay rent or bills. As mentioned, the prize for the next jackpot is $9.75 million, with a cash value option of $6.38 million.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — It's been a while since anyone matched all six numbers to win the Lotto Texas jackpot. That winning-less streak continued on Saturday, Sept. 29, increasing the jackpot for Wednesday Oct. 3, to an even $9 million, with a cash value option of $5.93 million.

The winning Lotto Texas jackpot numbers for Saturday, Sept. 29, are: 4-11-26-34-38-43. While nobody matched the numbers, you might want to still check as smaller prizes are awarded for as few as two matched digits.

Yet again, nobody matched all the numbers to win the Lotto Texas jackpot on Wednesday. Had somebody picked the six winning numbers, they could have won the $8 million jackpot. But without a six-digit match, the prize will have grown to $8.25 million at the next drawing this coming Saturday.

Come Saturday, Sept. 29, $8.25 million will be up for grabs given the lack of a winner on Wednesday night. The cash value option will be $5.43 million.
