The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, has been reset to $50 million after Wednesday's ginormous prize was claimed.
AUSTIN, TX — Earlier this week, the winning Powerball ticket valued at a massive $570 million was sold in Merrimack, N.H. One lucky person won that prize on Wednesday. So the jackpot has been reset for Saturday's drawing to a more modest $50 million, with a cash payout option of $31.4 million.
That's still some pretty serious money. So check your ticket!
The winning Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 Powerball numbers are: 14 - 25 - 35 - 58 - 69 with a red Powerball number of 24.

Powerball drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. CST. Powerball jackpot fun fact: As ginormous as Wednesday's payout was, it wasn't the biggest on record. The biggest Powerball jackpot was a $1.6 billion ticket won in January 2016 by a Tennessee couple.

AUSTIN, TX — As you may have heard by now, some lucky person bought the winning Powerball ticket on Saturday valued at $570 million last Saturday in New Hampshire. This means the jackpot has been reset to a paltry $40 million hardly worth getting in line at the convenience store to buy.
The cash payout option on the winning ticket would be reduced to $25.2 million. But if you believe you'd be able to survive on such an anemic amount, you might want to check your tickets for Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018.
The winning numbers are: 07 - 24 - 33 - 49 - 50 with a red Powerball number of 04.
Powerball drawings are staged every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. CST. If you go to bed before then, check with Patch in the morning for the winning Powerball numbers.
Powerball fun fact: The record in the Powerball jackpot was a $1.6 billion drawing in January 2016, which was won by a couple from Tennessee who no doubt did a waltz to celebrate.
