Woman Dead, Man Critically Injured In Wreck: Austin EMS
Collision at Burnet Road and Braker Lane just before 9:20 a.m. Sunday leaves women in her 20s dead, man in his 40s seriously hurt.
AUSTIN, TX — A woman is dead and a man left in critical, life-threatening condition following a Sunday morning crash, medics said.
The collision occurred on Burnet Road and Braker Lane just before 9:20 a.m., Austin-Travis County EMS medics said via Twitter. A woman in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene while a man in his 40s sustained injuries categorized as critical and life-threatening. The latter patient had to be extricated from the wreckage, medics noted.
The car involved in the collision was on its roof after overturning due to the impact of the crash, medics added. It's unclear what caused the crash or if any charges were filed.
