Your List Of Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Nov. 2-9, 2018

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Knowing what portions of Interstate 35 will be closed for repair, upgrade or re-striping ahead of time can help you reach your destination faster by knowing what spots to avoid or circumvent. To help in that plan is the Texas Department of Transportation, offering such a list each week.

These are the I-35 lane closures scheduled from Nov. 2 to Nov. 9.

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at SH 45N. The northbound U-turn will also be closed.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• Southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between US 79 and RM 620
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Thursday, November 8
• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between Gattis School Rd and RM 620
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Thursday, November 8 and from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, November 5 through Friday, November 9

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Powell Ln closed at southbound I-35. Use Wonsley Dr.
  • Through winter 2018
• Clock Tower Dr closed at northbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Carver Ave closed at southbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• I-35 closed in both directions between Blackson Ave and US 183. Exit #240 will also be closed.
  • Intermittently between 6:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday, November 4
• Southbound I-35 exit #237 closed at Airport Blvd
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Reinli St and 46th St
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• Southbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Thursday, November 8
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed between US 183 and St Johns Ave
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, November 5 through Tuesday, November 6
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed between Blackson Ave and US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, November 5 through Thursday, November 8

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Various I-35 frontage road closures in both directions between Woodland Ave and Woodward St
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• I-35 reduced to one lane in both directions between Holly St and Manor Rd. The lower deck will also be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Thursday, November 8
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between SH 71 and Woodward St
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 6 through Friday, November 9
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Woodland Ave and the Oltorf St entrance ramp
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 6 through Wednesday, November 7
• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp closed at 6th St
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 6 through Wednesday, November 7

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Stassney Ln
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Stassney Ln and William Cannon Dr
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Thursday, November 8
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at William Cannon Dr exit
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Monday, November 5
• Various northbound I-35 frontage road closures between William Cannon Dr and Nelms Dr
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, November 5 and from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 7 through Thursday, November 8
• I-35 frontage road left lane closed in both directions across William Cannon Dr
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, November 5 through Friday, November 9
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Dr and William Cannon Dr
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, November 5 through Friday, November 9
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Corral Ln and Foremost Dr
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, November 5 through Tuesday, November 6
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Foremost Dr and Slaughter Ln
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, November 5 through Tuesday, November 6
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between the William Cannon Dr exit and Boggy Creek Dr
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 7 through Thursday, November 8
• William Cannon Dr closed across I-35. Use other exits.
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, November 4 through Friday, November 9
• Eastbound William Cannon Dr right lane closed at I-35
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, November 5
• Alternating eastbound William Cannon Dr closures at I-35
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 6 through Thursday, November 8

MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed between Wonder World Dr and Hackberry St
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 5 through Thursday, November 6.
