Austin, TX -- These are the times that try men's and women's soles, prompting some of us to tap into our altruistic instincts to help make the world a better place. Yes, puns, but there's an important pint here.
YWCA Greater Austin officials have launched a "Stomp Out The Stigma" shoe drive, with participating Rainey Street-located food and drink establishments offering a discounted drink in return. Donate a pair of new or gently used shoes at participating locations July 22, and get yer drink on.
