1 Teen Arrested, Another Hurt After East Austin Police Chase
Friday evening wreck came to an end chase came to an end on northbound U.S. 183 after car carrying three teens crashed.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — A teenage girl was hospitalized and another ended up in custody following a police chase that resulted in a crash in central East Austin, according to reports.
The chase came to an end on northbound U.S. 183, KVUE reported. The incident occurred when police spotted two cars cruising down Loyola Lane and one driver eluded police, ending up crashing the car into a construction barrier, the news station reported.
Of the three teens in the car, one was injured after the airbag in the car deployed and struck her in the head, according to the report. One the two girls was arrested, according to police.
