14 Hurt In East Austin Collision Between Two City Buses
Medics said all patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries after crash at 425 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. around 6:20 p.m. Friday.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Multiple ambulance units responded to a crash involving two Capital Metro buses that left 14 people injured on Friday.
The incident occurred at 425 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. at around 6:20 p.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. All told, four ambulances were dispatched to the scene for medics to assess injuries. All of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and five people refused medical transport, medics said.
It's unclear what may have caused the collision to occur.
