3 Rescued From East Austin Lake After Boat Capsizes
Incident occurred along 8000 block of Decker Lane, where the Walter E. Long Lake is located, shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — Three people were rescued from an area lake after the boat they were in flipped and sank into the water Sunday afternoon.
Three adults were on board the boat along the 8000 block of Decker Lane, where the Walter E. Long Lake is located, when it capsized just after 3 p.m. Austin-Travis County EMS medics and Austin Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene to rescue the victims who were in the water awaiting rescue.
All three were plucked from the water, and sustained no injuries. "All people in boat accounted for and safe," Austin Fire Department officials wrote on Twitter. "Boat being towed in. AFD boat taking people back to dock."

It's unclear what could have caused the boat to flip over.
