Astronomy On Tap ATX Hosts Monthly Event And Is Open To All Ages
AoTATX hosts its first of the New Year pub-setting astronomy talk on Jan. 24 featuring fascinating discussion, trivia, prizes, and fun.

AUSTIN, TX -- Astronomy on Tap ATX (AoTATX), offering free monthly astronomy talks by professional astronomers in a pub or bar setting, will host its January talk on Tuesday, Jan.24 from 7:30 PM - 10 PM.
Based on the similar type of events that began in New York City, AoTATX features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. In addition, AoTATX talks offer trivia, prize giveaways, Astronomy in the News, and interaction with presenters and other event guests making for a fun and fascinating evening.
On Jan. 24, AoTATX will present three talks on kilonovas, HETDEX, and white dwarfs. #AoTATX40 will be hosted by our Host Binary Stars, A$AP Rocky Planet (Raquel Martinez) and AstroBoz (Brandon Bozek). In addition, #AoTATX40 will feature Astronomy in the News, trivia, and AoTATX merchandise.
