Austin Flight Headed To Chicago Turns Back Around After Two Passengers Get Into Fight
Two passengers were escorted off the plane after it landed back safely to Austin, but travelers were pretty peeved at the unexpected delay.

AUSTIN, TX — A plane headed from Austin to Chicago was forced to turn back after a pair of passengers got into a fight inside the aircraft, according to a published report.
The aircraft was recalled after the altercation between two passengers that took place in the cabin, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials confirmed with the Austin American-Statesman. Austin police were notified of the incident at about a quarter past 4 p.m. the newspaper reported.
The plane landed safely but was parked late Tuesday afternoon as its pilot awaited a new flight plan. The source of the discord between the fighting passengers is unknown, but both could face charges as a result. Several passengers on the plane tweeted about the incident on social media, one reduced to using the hashtag #wow in light of the unexpected and inexplicable series of events.
