Austin ISD High School On Lock-Down After Reports Of Shots Fired Nearby
Person reportedly shot in leg near LBJ High School prompts students to take shelter inside.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — LBJ High School in East Austin was placed on lock-down Thursday afternoon after reports of a person having been shot nearby.
KXAN reported a person near the school was shot in the leg, prompting school officials to put the high school on lock-down. Police were called to the 5600 block of Purple Sage Drive just after 5 p.m. A student told the news station there was intramural sporting activities occurring outside the school at the time of the reported shooting. Students were brought inside to take shelter inside the school, according to the report.
