Interstate 35 Reopened Following Austin Officer-Involved Crash
Police late Monday said the collision occurred along 900 block of the highway going southbound, though it's unclear if there were injuries.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Interstate 35 in Central East Austin were reopened late Monday after an officer-involved crash prompted lane closures.
Just before 11 p.m. on Monday, police said wreckage from a collision about an hour earlier had been cleared along the 900 block of Interstate 35 southbound. The cleared scene enabled crews to reopen lanes that had been blocked in the immediate aftermath of the collision.
At 10 p.m., police urged motorists to exercise caution at the site in what was described an an "officer-involved crash." The message was sent out given not just the wreckage, but the presence of police investigating the scene.

Like the original tweet, the update did not disclose whether the officer or any other motorists were injured in the crash.
