Police Search For Brazen East Austin Car Thief
A Chevy Trailblazer was taken from a McDonald's parking lot in broad daylight as its owner was presumably enjoying breakfast.
EAST AUSTIN, TX -- Police are looking for a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle in broad daylight from a McDonald's restaurant parking lot on Thursday.
CBS Austin reports the car theft occurred at about 8:20 a.m. at the McDonald's at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Oaks Springs Drive. Police said the stolen Chevy Trailblazer was parked with the ignition key inside the vehicle
Police continue to investigate. Those who might have any information are urged to call police, and can provide tips anonymously if needed.
