Ballet East Dance Company Poised For Winter Performance

EAST AUSTIN, TX — The Ballet East Dance Company will present its winter performance titled "37 Years and Still Dancing" next month.

The event is scheduled from Dec.1-4 at the Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Rd. From Dec. 1-3, performances are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. On Dec. 4, the show starts at 2 p.m. The show will feature new choreographies as well a performance by the youth ballet folkórico group, organizers said.

Choreographers are Dixon Mena; Amberlee Cantrell; Andrea Ariel; Toni Bravo; Esther Bramlett; Sharon Marroquin; Lindsey Taylor; Miguel Marroquin; and introducing Aurelio Planes Rodriguez.

Admission is $15 for adults; $12 for students with valid ID; and $10 for children and adults. Tickets are available for purchase at BalletEast.org.
