Best Beer in Austin Comes From Hops & Grain

Livability.com crowned Austin's top beer.

EAST AUSTIN, TX: A new review by Livability.com’s “99 Beers in 99 Cities” crowned a brew from Hops & Grain as the best in Austin.

The list named The One They Call Zoe as the top beer brewed in the Austin area. The beer is similar to a German lager, but dry-hopped “to add an extra layer of complexity.” It is light-to-golden in color with floral and citrus dry-hop aromatics. The beer has a score of 89 out of 100 on RateBeer.com and has an ABV of 5 percent. As an added plus, the beer was named after Hops & Grain founder Josh Hare’s own dog, according to Austin Culture Map.
