Bicyclist Killed In Late Night East Austin Collision With Vehicle
A male victim in his 40s was pronounced dead after a crash with a car at about a quarter until midnight.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A man died Tuesday night in East Austin after a collision involving a bicyclist and a vehicle, officials said.
The victim, a male in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The collision occurred in the 4400 block of Scottsdale Road at around 11:40 p.m., EMS medics said.
The road was closed in both directions for an extended period of time while police conducted their investigation at the scene. No further details were released.
