ICYMI 'Building Bridges' Police Town Hall Meeting Scheduled In East Austin
Gathering will provide a forum to address issues with police and district representatives, including the 2016 Racial Profiling Report.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A town hall meeting with police officials that will include discussion of the 2016 Racial Profiling Report, is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday in East Austin.
The Austin Police Department’s Region 3 District Representatives and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office will host the gathering, dubbed "Building Bridges: First Saturday’s Town Hall Meeting" on Saturday, June 3, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Travis County Precinct 1, Justice of the Peace Office, 4717 Heflin Lane.
The meeting is scheduled to be hosted by APD Assistant Chief Frank Dixon, Commander Richard Guajardo, Lt. Francisco Rodriguez, Sgt. Richard Ellsworth and Region 3 District representatives.

The gathering will provide a forum for community members to discuss issues with Austin Police Chief Brian Manley, hear about current crime trends with district representatives and explore findings of the 2016 Racial Profiling Report and other matters, officials said.
