Business Offers Reward In Attempts To Locate Theft Suspect

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- The owners an East Austin business are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a theft suspect they say walked off with cash from the business.

The alleged daytime heist occurred last Thursday at a Wright Bros. Brew & Brew location at 500 San Marcos St.

The owners released still frames from surveillance footage purporting to show a man stealing cash from a back room while employees were busy in the front part of the store.

In the footage, a man is seen opening a drawer to retrieve cash that he puts in his back pocket. The owners of the business said the incident occurred Jan. 4 just before 6 p.m.

Those with information are urged to call police.
