Child Hospitalized Under Critical Condition After Being Struck By Car In East Austin
The 10-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle early Monday evening and taken to Dell Children's Medical Center with serious injuries.
EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in East Austin Monday evening, emergency officials said.
Austin-Travis County EMS officials responded to the 1900 block of Antone Street at 5:32 p.m., near Airport Boulevard. The boy was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center. According to police, the driver stayed on the scene of the accident until emergency crews arrived.
