Child Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In East Austin
The young pedestrian under the age of 10 was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A child was transported to the hospital after being struck by a car in East Austin on Sunday, officials said.
The collision occurred at the intersection of East 2nd Street and Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street just before 2 p.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The young pedestrian was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening, according to Austin-Travis County medics.
The child struck is under the age of 10, medics said. No other details were provided, including whether the driver was cited as a result of the incident.
