'Coffee With A Cop' Gathering Scheduled For East Austin

The casual settings for these gatherings enable residents to chat with police officers in an informal setting.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Mark your calendar to have a "Coffee with a Cop" at the end of the month.

Region III District representatives of the Austin Police Department will host its upcoming session designed for residents to meet their neighborhood police officers in an informal setting. How informal? It's slated to take place at the McDonald's at 1143 1/2 Airport Boulevard.

The McDonald's chain of restaurants has surprisingly good coffee, but this is another matter entirely. The purpose of the meeting is to encourage residents to chat with their police representatives to voice neighborhood concerns or offer thanks for their work.
