Dog & Duck Pub Moves Into New East Austin Location

The bar, once near the University of Texas campus, is back one year after moving from its old location.

The Dog & Duck Pub announced its return after a year-long hiatus in four words Monday.


The bar left its original location near the University of Texas campus on Oct. 31 2014, but now the popular spot to grab a drink has found a new home in East Austin, reported culturemap.

The establishment became a favorite for UT students and Austin beer aficionados alike. It also catered to pet-lovers with a large dog-friendly patio space. The new Dog & Duck Pub is located on 2400 Webberville Rd.

Fans of Dog & Duck will be happy to hear that not much has changed. The Pub has retained its vast beer selection and cozy atmosphere. The one major change: Dog & Duck is now serving breakfast.

The restaurant will open for breakfast service at 7 a.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends. The bar will stay open until midnight Sunday through Friday and 1 a.m. on Saturday.
