Early-Morning Rollover Crash Sends Woman To The Hospital

Woman in her 20s was pinned to her vehicle before being taken to the hospital trauma center.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A young woman was seriously injured following a rollover crash early Tuesday morning in East Austin.

The accident involving a vehicle and an 18-wheeler occurred at 1:22 a.m. at the 6500 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard northbound at Loyola Lane.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS officials, a woman in her 20s was pinned to her vehicle after the collision. Once extricated, she was transported to the University Medical Center Brackenridge trauma center for treatment potentially serious injuries.
