East Austin Fire Blamed On Incense Burner Displaces 10
Incense burner caused $15,000 in structural damage and the displacement of residents at 6508 Auburndale St. Saturday night.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — An incense burner was blamed for a fire that displaced nine adults and a child on Saturday night.
The incense burner ignited nearby combustibles, sparking a fire at an East Austin boarding house along the 6508 Auburndale St. at around 11:24 p.m. fire officials said. The tenants displaced as a result were being assisted by the American Red Cross in finding temporary housing.
No injuries were reported. Damage to the structure was estimated at $15,000 and was limited to the garage of the structure, officials said.
