East Austin Shooting Leads To Man's Hospitalization [UPDATED]
A man in his 40s is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting that took place just before 1 p.m.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A man in his 40s was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after a Sunday shooting incident, emergency officials said.
Austin-Travis County EMS officials were called to the 6100 block of Wheless Cove at about 12:40 p.m. after calls reporting a shooting.
The shooting victim was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with injuries to his abdomen not believed to be life-threatening. Police have not released his name.
