East Austin Woman Charged With Dragging Boyfriend With Car During Fight
Heidi Divin, 46, is charged with a second-degree felony as a result with the altercation turned violent.

East Austin, TX -- An East Austin woman has been charged with allegedly dragging her boyfriend with a car last week during an argument.
The news station KVUE reports that Heidi Diven, 46, and her boyfriend had a disagreement on July 6. According to an arrest affidavit, police were twice called to quell the situation.
The victim told officials he and Diven had made up via text message, and she offered to give him a ride to work. The woman is said to have picked up her boyfriend the next morning at about 4 am., driving him to the 12900 block of Harold Green.

But then tempers again erupted, the woman said to have brought up the argument from the night before. While the victim exited the car to get his work gear from the back seat, Diven allegedly put the car in reverse and knocked him over with the open front passenger door, KVUE reported.
The victim is said to have grabbed the bottom of the passenger door when he was dragged on the ground. The woman was subsequently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence, a second-degree felony.
