Failed Austin Eatery Auctioning Off Furnishings
Officials at recently shuttered Boiler Nine are selling off their equipment — from chairs to refrigerators — in an online sale.
EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — Owners of the shuttered restaurant Boiler Nine are auctioning off the furnishings of their failed enterprise — chairs, tables, refrigerators and more — in an online auction, according to a published report.
Austin 360 reports that Boiler Nine, the Seaholm restaurant that recently closed, is selling off its equipment via RestaurantEquipment.Bid an affiliate of TAGeX Brands, in an auction expected to last a week. There are no minimum bids and no reserves, the website reports.
So if you've ever wanted to replicate that restaurant vibe in your personal kitchen, here's your chance. But don't weep too much for La Corsha Hospitality Group, which operated Boiler Nine. Word is they're soon set to open East Austin Hotel on East 6th Street.
