The Greater Austin Black Chamber Of Commerce Hosts Culinary Event
Taste of Black Austin: From Field to Table will feature delicious small plates and a photo exhibit illustrating Black food history.
AUSTIN, TX -- The Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce will host Taste of Black Austin: From Field to Table on Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 6 PM - 9 PM. Taste of Black Austin is unique culinary experience that traces the journey of economic prosperity through the historical context of food.
An intimate reception will kick off the evening's event with delicious small plates prepared by talented chefs from Austin, as well as a curated photo exhibit showcasing food history. Event tickets, $85. VIP tickets, $150 and include a VIP cooking demonstration preceding the reception.
Taste of Black Austin will allow guests to taste various small plates that chronicle Black food history to date. The savory menu will feature bite sized portions of dishes from archived recipe books and historic menu selections.
