AUSTIN, TX — It was not the best getaway: A man accused of recently stealing booze from a downtown Austin bar was found snoozing on a bus stop bench with some of the ill-gotten gains next to him, according to a published report.

Referencing court documents, the Austin American-Statesman reported that Everett Turner, 34, made off with $2,000 worth of booze only to be found a few days later napping on the bus bunch with some of the liquor bottles at his side.
