Police ID Suspect, Victim In Fatal East Travis County Stabbing
Robert Degollado, 51, has been charged with murder and jailed with bail set at $500,000 after police make the grisly discovery.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A man was charged with murder early Saturday after police found a woman fatally stabbed in an eastern Travis County home.
Travis County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 1:45 a.m. 911 call at a home along the 4600 block of Sojourner Street in the Hornsby Bend neighborhood. Upon their arrival, deputies found a woman stabbed to death inside the home.
Police arrested Roberto Degollado, 51, who also was inside the residence at the time of deputies' arrival. He was booked into the Travis County Jail after being charged with murder with a bail set at $500,000. By Sunday, the sheriff's office had released the name of the victim. She was identified as Emily Martinez Villarreal, who was 36 years old.

The Travis County Medical Examiner has ruled her death a homicide by sharp force injury.
