Man Critically Injured After Car Plows Into East Austin Home

The victim was hospitalized at University Medical Center Brackenridge with critical life-threatening injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- EMS medics transported a man to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a house on Saturday.

The victim, a man in his 60s, was found injured when Austin-Travis County EMS officials responded to the corner of Rosewood Avenue and Angelina Street at about 1:36 a.m. this past Saturday.

The man was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with critical life-threatening injuries.

Medics generally only report on the condition of patients to whom they tend, leaving other details to police. For that reason, it's unknown if the injured man was the driver of the vehicle who crashed into the house or an occupant in the affected building.
