Man Draws Charge After Using Large Tree Branch In East Austin Attack
The man allegedly swung the tree part at a woman, aiming for her head.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- Police arrested a man accused of attacking a woman with a large tree branch, a news station reported.
Vincent Johnson was charged with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony, for the attack, as reported in KEYE-TV. The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Manor Road.
According to the news station, a staff member at the University of Texas at Austin approached a university police officer to report the man tried to assault her by swinging a large tree branch at her head, KEYE reported.

Police located the suspect and promptly arrested him. They also found the offending tree branch -- a three-foot type weighing about five pounds -- that he still had on him at the time of the arrest.
