Man Rescued After Falling 50 Feet From Cliff In East Austin
The unidentified man in his 20s fell from the Pennybacker Bridge in the early hours of Monday morning.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A man was recovering on Monday after falling from a cliff about 50 feet near the Pennybacker Bridge on Loop 360.
Austin-Travis Counmty EMS officials said the man in his 20s fell from the cliff at around 3:30 a.m. EMS medics were aided by the Austin Fire Department in pulling the man to safety with ropes.
The man, who declined to be hospitalized, was treated at the scene for injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening.
